Currently, LTE(Long Term Evolution) technology is used for smart-phone service and expanded to industrial and emergency communications through rapid progress and supply of mobile communication technology. In this paper, performance of LTE network, which is expected to be used for implementation of various application and development of new services, is evaluated in point of application traffics. Performance of several traffics with some protocols is evaluated with computer simulation using NS(Network Simulator)-2. In simulation, LTE function is implemented and modified on NS-2 with open source. The methods and results of this paper may be use to design LTE network and develop communication service over LTE network.
